How to Get Huge Triceps

Our arms consist of many various kinds of muscles. Triceps are one of them that always play an important part in arm movements. They are composed of 3 major muscles. Strong and big triceps help the person in lifting heavy weights. Besides well-developed triceps signify strong and powerful arms. Due to this, lots of people do military presses, bench presses and various triceps exercises to build lean and powerful triceps. Besides strength and good looks, strengthening triceps will make your arms stronger overall. This is due to the fact that triceps form 2/3 of the arm. So strong triceps are the prerequisites for strong arms. Of course, you must also exercise your biceps to get a rounded arm development.



Simple triceps exercises consist of push ups, dumbbell exercises and rope pull downs. Always warm up properly prior to doing any of these exercises, in order to ready the body for the intense demands of doing some exercises, thereby minimizing injury risks.

Simple push up is the standard triceps exercise. It is the easiest and most efficient exercise in toning the muscle. Choose dumbbells for load or increasing body’s resistance to intensify any triceps exercise. However in order to tone the muscle, substitute a dumbbell for the rope pull down. Grab the dumbbell in both the hands and place it at the back of the head. Remain in this position and slowly drag the dumbbell up and down and experience the contraction of the triceps. In gyms, triceps toning exercises use rope pull down machines. The machine works out the triceps by permitting you to do the same exercises as those performed by using the dumbbell. Always retain proper posture while performing these exercises so that they are done correctly. It is the quality of exercise and not the number of reps that matter.

Complex triceps exercises are meant to build the mass and extend the upper and lower triceps. To add mass, use heavy weights in the close-grip barbell bench and weighted dips. To develop upper triceps, do dips and cable press down exercises. To develop  lower triceps, weighted dips was shown to give results, make the exercise more intense by just going 3/4 of the way up to totally focus on the lower triceps. To get wonderful results ensure your posture is proper.

To develop triceps, you can get great results if you train when you are fresh. Supersetting triceps exercises allows you to get an Olympia class arm. Generally, it is quite difficult to get bigger triceps. As per the priority principle of body building, hitting difficult to develop muscles first is the secret to getting great body building results.

Diet and rest are equally important in order to benefit from triceps exercises. Ensure you feed yourself well to fuel your body to cope up with challenging exercises.
